Without your feedback we’d find it hard to constantly improve the service we provide. Annual Travel Insurance and HIV Positive

Once again just a short note to say thank you to yourself and the staff there at Rothwell & Towler for organising my yearly travel insurance in a quick, efficient, pleasant and professional manner. I know there are a few companies now on the internet and some not who offer travel insurance cover to people with HIV illness and indeed the policy before this one that I took out having shopped around them just to compare I could have had similar cover for around £10 cheaper. However, I chose to return to you.

Each and every time I have always been impressed with the excellent manner and respect and friendliness of your staff, on the China Trip I’d left taking out the insurance a bit late and was worried that the policy documents may not get to me by post before I left. No problem Sir was the lady’s reply do you have access to email?? And within 10 minutes I was printing off the essential documents from PDF files just in case. As it turned out the Royal Mail on this rare occasion did deliver on time but nothing was too much trouble.

Your staff that I have dealt with all seem to have a rare quality that is increasingly hard to find these days in that they realise totally that as I’m buying your product I’m the customer and without me and your other customers you have no business. There are a lot of companies out there could learn a thing or two about keeping the customer happy from your employees.

I have recommended your company to friends who are in the same situation as myself and I said to them “they are a great company who’s customer service is simply excellent and a rare quality to find sadly these days.”

Thank you once again for setting up my yearly policy and unless your bought over by some multi national couldn’t care less we have your money now sod off organisation I don’t see any way I’d go elsewhere even if they offered me the same cover at half the price. I know what I get when I deal with you and I know I’ll be treated fairly and with respect and that as I said is a rare thing these days.

Like most, I have always been far from confident about holiday insurance on offer by travel agents etc. We have all heard, and seen on TV, the traumatic and often disastrous results when claims have to be made by those unfortunate people for whom things went wrong. Paying for the insurance is the only easy part about it but claiming and being compensated is often another story.

However, two years ago, I was recommended to insure through Rothwell & Towler. How fortunate it was that I did for my wife, as she was taken seriously ill just two days before we were due to go and we had to cancel.

This was the first time it had happened to us and the first one insured with Rothwell & Towler. However, I was later happy to find that, having supplied the medical report from our GP everything was swiftly sorted out and the hotel was promptly paid.

I did not need to write this letter and it is possible that the newspapers I send it to may not wish to publish it, but I hope that they will, because I could not speak too highly about the courteous, prompt and efficient way that the problem was resolved.

We hear about a lot of unsatisfactory cases and I wanted through the media, to compliment Rothwell & Towler and hopefully, perhaps help other people at the same time. I have no connection with them. I am only someone who, for once, found a company who gave a high standard of service, which seems increasingly difficult to find these days.
